Reporting to the culinary leadership team, the Pastry Cook prepares quality pastries such as breakfast items, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, simple syrups, amenities, mousses, fruit curds, coulis, sauces and composed mini pastries, plated desserts, and buffet items. Assist in complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures.
The Cook is responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. The cook is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud.
Senior Event Captain
The Senior Event Captain coordinates, organizes, and executes events. Responsible for making sure that the event is set correctly according to the function sheet, the food is presented well, and service is seamless. They are in charge of floor staff and making sure that staff are in uniform and serving the clients in a prompt and friendly manner. They are the liaison to the chefs and cooking staff communicating what food needs to be replenished. The Event Captain works directly with the Protocol team and Account Executives, and are in charge of addressing and remedying any questions or concerns that come up before or during service.
Catering Truck Driver
The Truck Driver position is expected to work as a valued member of the delivering and receiving operations. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations between company and client sites. Food deliveries will be required throughout the region.
Catering Driver Helper
The truck Driver Assistant is expected to work as a valued member of the delivering and receiving operations. This job will primarily consist of local operations between company and client sites. Food deliveries will be required throughout the region.
Specialty Pastry & Cake Decorator
The Specialty Pastry & Cake Decorator is responsible for cake assembly, finishing, decorating including inscription, and production of custom items such as hand-painted cookies, gumpaste flowers and décor. The Specialty Pastry and Cake Decorator must have proficiency in tempering chocolate to create garnishes, bonbons and truffles.
AM Manager on Duty
The Manager on Duty reports to the Transportation Manager, and works with him/her to ensure events are dispatched on time. Primary responsibilities include answering and responding to emergency calls, and managing the transportation team in the building and on the road.
FT/PT Warehouse Steward
The Warehouse Steward receives, supports our company’s warehouse operations. Ensures accuracy and timeliness by performing various warehouse activities including receiving, inputting, sorting and loading/uploading products and equipment.
MENUS Account Executive
The Account Executive will execute the sales strategy for MENUS, initiate contact with existing and potential clients, identify needs and sell appropriate products to meet those needs.
The Creative Director at Occasions Caterers is a senior level management position. The Creative Director is responsible for overseeing the creative and artistic strategy, generating unique event design, and realizing signature display concepts for one of the nation’s largest off-premise catering firms. You will work with our President & Chief Content Officer, culinary team, R&D Chef, sales, and marketing teams to brainstorm, research, and execute innovative design concepts for corporate and social events. The position includes trend forecasting, supporting our brand narrative, visual merchandising, and managing a purchasing and product development program for display wares. Additional responsibilities include involvement in the event proposal process, facilitating development of creative briefs, pitching design concepts to clients, graphic design projects, and supporting online and offline marketing projects with our social media team in order to create visibility for our creative content.
